The Power of Imagination comes next, allowing us to be a co-creator with God since we can conceptualize, envision and dream. We can release all thoughts of weakness and fear. Charles and Cora Fillmore explain it this way: “Spirit imparts its ideas through a universal language. Instead of being explained by words and phrases as used in ordinary language, the idea is formed and projected in its original character…The mind formulates into thought images every idea that arises in it, and then tries to express it in language, which is nearly always inadequate.”
Isolation *Imagination, isolation, consciousness, love, light
Isolation exposes our vulnerability
to outside forces, both good and bad.
It opens up our souls
to extend our consciousness to detect Divine love.
Our higher selves are nourished
and enhanced by this experience with the Divine,
allowing us to become prisms
for Divine Light to envelop the world around us.
All of our facets are activated to see the Universe
as an extension of ourselves in its many dimensions.
Isolation is the catalyst for us to become better people
who can contribute to a more loving world.

God’s Show *Imagination, humility, surrender, joy, strength, wisdom
The willingness to be humble and become part of the Flow
allows our hearts to lead us and know we are in God’s Show.
The part we play doesn’t matter and may not even make sense.
We have to trust in the outcome and then jump off of the fence.
When we let God into our lives, it strengthens our inner state.
Then power, joy, strength and wisdom come to us through Heaven’s Gate.

Innocence Regained *Imagination, innocence
I am innocent on the inside—
that’s what God wants me to know.
Though life may give me a rough ride,
it’s supposed to teach me to grow.
I already have what I need
to get to my innocent core.
No reason to resort to greed—
I just have to learn “less” is “more.”
A wizard’s spell isn’t required
to throw off my mantle of pain.
Life’s troubles can be retired
and my innocence is what I will gain.

The Tin Man’s Quest *Imagination, love
“What would I do if I could feel love?”
the Tin Man wanted to know.
“I think I’d be like God above
and spread it like the driven snow.”
Who knows what Tin Man might believe,
but the thought is good as gold.
The emotions we send are the ones we retrieve,
bounced back but twice as bold.
We decide what’s behind the screen
that we want the world to see.
If we all spread love upon the world’s scene,
then that’s what the world will be.

Born to Love *Imagination, love, consciousness, transformation, wisdom
My blood is cold, my eyes unblinking
as I acknowledge the reptile within me.
My forked tongue pays tribute
to my most basic binary nature,
the one that drives my ego to keep me alive at all costs,
denying my transcendence
so I will continue slithering from one crisis to another.
It is all I know.
The world is scarce to my slit eyes,
and I am pushed to want more, more, more,
since my reptilian brain is so limited
that it knows no other way to survive.
But wait! My blood warms as it encounters tribal consciousness,
recognizing my ties to others and,
wanting to quench my new-found thirst,
I begin to discover love and connection.
My emerging Self pushes my primal scales away,
and my eyes begin blinking as my vision expands.
My heart now beats to follow the Cosmic tune
and my love begins an exponential growth curve.
The more I see beyond my former prey,
the more I climb the fragile evolutionary spiral
made of heart-love and diminished pain.
My hard-won operating system becomes more unitary
as I sprout unaccustomed wings to complete my transformation.
Evolving into Cosmic Wisdom,
my now-warm blood gives me new life
as an emergent Soul who now knows
that it was born to love.

Rocks in our Pockets *Imagination, love, forgiveness, Oneness
Hate is a burden that weighs us down
by obscuring the light that connects us to the Divine.
Hate is born of guilt and fear that our own perceived failings
have condemned us in the eyes of God.
It becomes a stone, weighing us down,
making us want to throw it at others,
just to get rid of it.
Love is hate’s antidote, and forgiveness its balm.
Love frees us from the toxic thoughts and desires
that destroy our peace and happiness.
Forgiveness converts “they” into “we”
and protects our hearts from descending on the spiral ramp
of judgment and guilt.
We see the world not as it is, but as we think we are,
forever separated from God,
so we fill our cosmic pockets with the rocks of hatred, guilt and fear,
some thrown at us, but others waiting to be thrown.
Only love and forgiveness can sew them shut
and bring us back into our birthright:
our Oneness with God, where we’ve been all along.

Labor Day Blues *Imagination
The world is asking
for hyper-tasking.
Its corporate mission
is spiritual fission.
Our participation,
as a working nation,
makes rest a vacation
that we have to ration.
Our spirits need leisure
to regain life’s pleasure.

Tiny Acts of Kindness *Imagination
Our tiny acts of kindness
are like angel’s bells.
They ring out with no ending
and rise to where God dwells.
They only take a moment
and hardly any thought.
But their effects are lasting
and can’t be sold or bought.
Like all things given freely,
with nothing to repay,
the love they send is priceless
and another way to pray.
By seeing God in others,
we lift our hearts on high.
Our tiny acts of kindness
will let our spirits fly.

My Path to Transformation *Imagination, Transformation
How can I change my fearful mind?
How do I want it to be?
My transformation begins inside
by changing how I see.
Do I see myself as a piece of clay
that’s molded by the world?
When danger lurks do I soak it in
and react with fear unfurled?
Or do I ground myself by sitting still
and asking if it’s true,
then listening for my inner voice
to tell me what to do?
This leads me to affirm my faith
in my inner wisdom’s sight.
The thunder can then go away
since my small, still voice is right.
